Does your child love bugs? Way not take the Magnifying glass out of the junk drawer, where it probably has been for months or maybe even years and go on a bug hunt! Kids of all ages love going on bug hunts. Mom's and Nannies it is ok even if you are a sophicated women to go look for bugs for a hour or so. I promise they won't bite you. As a Nanny for the last 17 years, I can't tell you how many bug hunts I have been on and will continue to go on, and Guess what I survived all of them!
Girls Even love bug hunts as much a the Boys, it instill's a love of the outdoors in everyone involved.
A Follow Up Family Activity is to Make A BUGGY BUDDY
Have everyone collect some rocks and recreate the bugs and the insects that you might have discovered on your bug hunt.
Paint the Rocks and Let Dry.
Glue on a set of googly eyes.
Once the Rocks dry, enjoy your new pet!
