Music to My Ears!

Music Naturally Delights and Moves Children of all Ages. It Provides an outlet for children's high spirits and creative energy.  Music and Movement experiences help develop both sides of the brain.
As you are reading this you are probably thinking there is no way I am listening to another minute of Raffi!
Trust Me I feel the Same as you.  Spending at least 10 hrs a day with children, there is no way I could listen to Children's music all day Every Day.

Music is a Universal language and a natural form of expression for children of all ages.  It Promotes the development of listening skills and builds vocabulary.  Music is a very valuable tool that provides an opportunity for learning new concepts such as up/down, fast/slow,heavy/light, and loud/soft.

Music Can Be Reggae, Country, jazz, classical, rap, or any other music that you like.  As a Nanny I really enjoy listening to The Putumayo Series with Children.  I feel this music can stimulate, engage and inspire – giving children an opportunity to express themselves and experience new and exciting cultures with music that will make the whole family tap their feet.
One of my Favorite out of the Series is African Playground.

Children and their families will love the upbeat rhythms and appealing melodies on this musical tour.

If you Are interested in this series, they can be found online, and through Amazon.  We are pleased to be able to check out our series with my local library.

Remember that sharing music with your children is a wonderful way to build a warm, loving Relationship.  It's a gift that will last forever.
