Nature's Candy !

Nature has it's own candy, and it's called fruit!  In season local fruit will help your child develop a taste for all types of fruit, including exotic varieties,can can help in your battle against refined sugar treats. 

Have your older children freeze grapes.  They call them grape goodies.

For a Refreshing treat,make smoothies with a juicer.  Freeze the leftovers in ice-pop trays and eat the pops later in the day

Food can be fun when you prepare it in interesting shapes.  Consider using Cookie cutters on slices of Fruits and vegetable.

Here is a Recipe that Kids Love:  Rockin' fruity Veggie Pops
These are packed with protein,antioxidants,and vitamin B and C.  Everyone Age seems to really enjoy them!

1 mango peeled and chopped
1 cup of fresh blueberries
2 bananas, peeled and cut in half
1 small whole fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into pieces
1 cup chopped kale
1 cup of chopped spinach
2 cups of water

Combine the mango, blueberries,bananas,pineapple,kale,spinach,and water in a food processor or a blender. Process until smooth. Add a little more water if the consistency is too thick.

Pour Mixture into a ice-pop mold.  Place the molds in the freeze.  Serve the ice pops when Frozen.

These Pops are sure to take away teething pain,cool them off on a hot summer day,and help build up a babies immune system in yummy fun ways!

The best part about it contains no refined sugars!
